Rafting
on Drina and village tourism, in combination with health food
production, represent the biggest tourist potentials of Gorazde
and its surrounding. Placed in the middle of upper flow of
Drina river, on eastern slopes of Jahorina mountain, Gorazde
is a town where the Sun rises first comparing to other cities
in BiH.
Town`s valley is surrounded by hills Misjak on south-west,
Biserno on the south-east, Samari on the south, Gubavica on
West and Povrsnica on north. Drina appears south from Focha,
on confluence of rivers Piva and Tara. It empties into Sava
near Bosanska Racha, at 78 meters height above sea level.
Lengthways of its flow of 334 kilometers, during summer gives
great opportunities for relaxing and getaway from city crowd. |

Only
rafting and log - floating between canyons can completely
explore its rapids and whirlpools. Average temperature of
water in the Summer in Drina is up to 18 degrees, and rafting
and
log - floating programs last from March to September. In order
organize a floating, it`s needed to form a group with at least
ten people.
All participants are insured. Rafting on the Drina River is
unique in the Europe, it is a special famous tourist attraction
and offer of the BPK Gorazde. It is a particular adventure,

The float logs raft is a very unusual floating object, it
is made of wooden logs, it has the capacity of fifteen persons.
The journey lasts for one day; you can do fishing from it
and enjoy in the gastro domestic specialities.
Rafting and other tourist attractions have been organized
by the Tourist Agency "Obner" Gorazde. A visit to
the tourist attractions can be organized for one day. It can

Beside rafting and floating fans, Drina is daily visited by

Fishers are familiar with well known Drina`s fish "Mladica",
which sometimes can weight even up to 20 kilos. In the area
of Ustikolina, huchen was cached in the weigh of 58,4 kg!
It`s a world record!
The upper part of the Drina River in BPK Gorazde area is still
preserved of pollution, which is the basic precondition to
have beside the plain sort of fish, the most interesting kinds
of salmon fish too, they are loved by the fish gourmand. |
